Use a calendar or set reminders With all the resources we have available, finding a suitable calendar for your lifestyle shouldn’t be a problem. How to Spend 3 Days in Colorado Springs
Travel has been a passion of mine from an early age. My mom made sure that I had experiences more than I had things. I am so thankful for this in more ways than I can count. One of my first trips was to Colorado Springs, Colorado. I was only 16 at the time and it lit a fire in me for the outdoors that is hard to explain. A little bit about Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs sits at an elevation of 6,035 ft., and is located on the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains. It lies near Pikes Peak, which has a cog railway leading to its 14,114-ft. summit. Discover the Best Lodging Options Near Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park, a must-visit destination, fulfilled a lifelong dream. Located just outside the park in Kalispell, we found a cozy VRBO rental with all the amenities and a pet-friendly fenced yard. Our three-day stay in late May brought perfect weather and minimal crowds, though the Going-to-the-Sun Road was partially closed. While we could only venture 20 miles into the park by car, the rest of the route was open to pedestrians and cyclists. Our first stop was Glacier Park Inn, offering boat rentals, a restaurant, and lodging options by the breathtaking Lake McDonald. Kalispell served as our convenient home base for exploring the region, located within a 30-minute drive…

Rushmore is a massive site carved into the mountains located in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. When you arrive, there is no entrance fee to the park, but there is a $10 parking fee which is good for 1 year after purchase. If you live close by or even travel through South Dakota often, this…

Fun Road Trip In & Around South Dakota’s National Parks
Badlands National Park I will be honest, I wasn’t exactly thrilled at the idea of going to Badlands National Park when we decided to add it to our itinerary. I am a mountain girl thru and thru, but I couldn’t be so close to another National Park and not mark it off my list. Located in southwestern South Dakota, Badlands National Park consists of 244,000 acres of sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles and spires blended with the largest protected mixed grass prairie in the United States. It looks like another planet. You can look for miles and see no sign of civilization. The Badlands have been so ravaged by wind and…
